Which Early-2000s Aesthetic Are You? (Quiz)
Velour tracksuits or studded belts? Popped collars, skate shoes, fringe or a handheld console? Ten quick questions reveal your early-2000s aesthetic.
Take the quiz →Boomer, Gen X, Millennial, Gen Z or Gen Alpha? Ten quick questions about snacks, phone calls and style reveal the generation you really vibe with.

Your snacks, your phone habits and the way you give directions say a lot about which generation you vibe with. Answer 10 quick questions to find yours, whatever your birth year.
This quiz asks 10 quick, everyday questions: how you wish a friend happy birthday, how you feel about phone calls, where you get your news, what you snack on and how you give directions. Each answer points toward one of five generations: Baby Boomer, Gen X, Millennial, Gen Z or Gen Alpha. Your result is the generation your habits match most often.
It takes about a minute, there’s no sign-up, and your answers are scored right in your browser. Your actual birth year doesn’t enter into it at all. Plenty of people born in the 2000s answer like Boomers, and plenty of grandparents turn out to be Gen Z at heart. Pick what you’d really do, not what you think your age group is supposed to do.
This is a quiz for fun, not a scientific test. Generation labels are loose, and researchers and media outlets don’t always agree on the exact cutoff years. Every generation includes people with wildly different lives, incomes, hometowns and tastes, so the descriptions here are playful sketches of common habits, not rules about anyone. Your result says something about your style and routines, not your age.
If you want the real definitions, our guide to generation names and years lays out each group from the Silent Generation to Gen Alpha, with the date ranges most commonly used.
Whatever you get, every generation has something worth borrowing: the Boomer phone call, the Gen X independence, the Millennial planning, the Gen Z creativity and the Gen Alpha curiosity. Take the parts you like and have fun with the rest.
